![]() The stakes seem higher this time Moss: Book 2 gives Quill world-saving responsibilities. Polyarc promises encounters with new allies and old friends on Quill’s second adventure. Quill has rescued her uncle Argus, but a new evil leads the Arcane forces in pursuit of our mousey heroine through the castle where her uncle was held prisoner. The story of Moss: Book 2 will pick up directly after the events of the first game. Developer Polyarc unveiled Quill’s next adventure for PlayStation VR during Sony’s State of Play stream on Thursday. I had a wonderful time playing Moss and Moss: Book II Bundle as it makes 2 memorable adventures stand out even more thanks to exceptionally crisp visuals that end up making the diorama-like environments more delightful to explore than ever.Quill, the lovable mouse hero of VR puzzle-adventure game Moss, will return in a sequel, Moss: Book 2. □️ Areas like this look absolutely amazing with PlayStation VR2 Also, although the visuals are great, I wish that more of the sensory features were implemented to make these familiar games feel even more modern, fresh, and immersive but they're still great games nonetheless. Of course, I wish that there was more content as I already played both of these games but this isn't some kind of Ultimate Edition or anything so I wasn't really expecting anything new. Plus, slapping a high-five with Quill after a job well done is always an adorable moment that'll make you smile. Whereas I would often struggle trying to grab things in the original games, it's all so intuitive here and it feels great to be able to manipulate the rooms as effortlessly as you can. □Īnother unexpected enhancement is just how much smoother the gameplay is thanks to the Sense controllers. Just like with Tetris Effect: Connected PSVR2, the visuals are such a huge step up that they impressed me more than when I played these games on the original PlayStation VR. Each environment is crystal-clear and even Quill is more detailed as she scampers around. □ Moss: Book II Review Enemies aren't so bad when they help open the path ahead PSVR2 enhancementsĪs I played Moss and Moss: Book II Bundle, I was blown away by how much better everything looks thanks to PlayStation VR2. If you get this pack, I recommend playing both games so you can get the most out of the story. ![]() Overall, Moss: Book II is a huge step up and it's a much longer game to boot which is a nice bonus. Speaking of which, combat is as easy as it is in the first game but at least you can do more here. I also enjoy playing as the new character Sahima as she's equipped with Chakram projectiles that she can throw in combat. Specifically, the puzzles are a lot more elaborate and a handful of new skills such as the ability to grow vegetation and dash make solving puzzles as you uncover all sorts of treasures a supremely rewarding undertaking. With all of that in mind, the second game in Moss and Moss: Book II Bundle really changes things up gameplay-wise to make for a much more fulfilling experience. ![]() ![]() ![]() However, admiring your surroundings as Quill scampers around still makes for a beautiful treat so it's more the kind of game that you'd play to relax with than it is a challenging adventure. The campaign has a great mix of platforming, puzzles, and combat so it's a solid journey for sure although it's still very basic at its core which may leave some gamers occasionally bored. Controlling Quill as she climbs around the environments only to reach out to open doors and drag blocks for her adds up to a lovely interactive experience that's rather intuitive, especially with the simple hack-and-slash combat in place. □ Get ready for an epic story, chums MossĪs the first game in the series, Moss establishes a wonderful fairytale world where you play as the reader who assists a little mouse named Quill on her adventure. │ Remember to support your favourite streamers and content creators for all the entertainment that they provide. The iconic mouse Quill is back in a 2-game collection for PlayStation VR2 that'll blow you away here's Moss and Moss: Book II Bundle. Maciejewski playing a PS5 with PSVR2 on Ma□ ![]()
